Centos Lesson 1 Connecting from SSH to server via SSH

The method of access to Centos in general is SSH. SSH stands for Secure Shell.

It is convenient to install Putty on Windows and Terminal on MacOS to connect to SSH.

Type your server IP in the first part and your Port in the Port field. By default it is Port 22. Then Press Open Link



Enter your root username on your Centos installation. Generally this name is root and press Enter

If you want to connect to another server through the server


You can connect as

ssh -l (username) (ip to connect) -p (port number)
