Sometimes, you want to examine the error.log files on the server for many reasons such as installations, updates, server migrations, etc.
Sometimes these files get so bloated that you want to clean them up.

While the error files are in public_html in CPanel, they are located in /var/log/httpd/domains in DirectAdmin.

You can log in with Filezilla as root, edit the relevant error.log file, delete it and save it again.

Note, do not delete the file completely, otherwise the system starts not saving at all.

Even if you delete it by mistake, you can create a new folder named domainname.error.log.
